At Maralika, we aim to provide students with a meaningful and satisfactory learning experience. We understand that circumstances may sometimes change, and therefore we have established the following Refund Policy for our courses and services.
Recorded Courses
Students may request a full refund within 48 hours of purchase.
The refund request must be submitted within 48 hours from the date and time of purchase.
After 48 hours from the time of purchase, refund requests will not be automatically approved. However, a student may still submit a refund request, and Maralika will review the request and the reason provided. Based on the circumstances, Maralika may approve or decline the refund request.
Once a refund is approved and processed, the student's access to the relevant course and its materials will be discontinued.
Live Online Courses
For live online courses, the following refund terms will apply:
Before the first class: The student may request a 100% refund of the course fee.
Within 3 days after the first class: The student may request a 50% refund of the course fee.
After 3 days from the first class: Refund requests will not be automatically approved. However, the student may submit a request explaining the reason, and Maralika will review the request and decide whether to approve or decline the refund.
Once a refund is approved and processed, the student's access to the relevant course or remaining classes will be discontinued, as applicable.
Course Cancellation or Postponement by Maralika
If Maralika cancels a course before it begins, students who have already paid for the course will be entitled to a full refund of the course fee.
If Maralika cancels a live course after it has started and is unable to provide the remaining classes, Maralika will review the circumstances and provide an appropriate refund for the unused portion of the course.
If a course is postponed, Maralika may offer the student the option to continue with the course on the revised schedule or request a refund, depending on the circumstances.
Technical Problems
If a student is unable to access a purchased course because of a technical problem originating from Maralika's platform, the student should contact Maralika as soon as possible.
Maralika will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue. Depending on the circumstances, Maralika may provide:
- an extension of course access;
- an alternative method of accessing the course; or
- a refund, where appropriate.
Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If a student is charged more than once for the same course due to a payment or technical error, the duplicate payment will be refunded after verification.
How to Request a Refund
Refund requests should be submitted through the contact details provided on the Maralika website.
The request should include:
- Student's name
- Registered email address or mobile number
- Name of the course
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the refund request
Maralika may request additional information when necessary to verify the purchase and assess the refund request.
Review of Refund Requests
Refund requests submitted after the specified refund period will be reviewed individually by Maralika.
Maralika may consider factors such as:
- the reason for the request;
- the time elapsed since purchase or course commencement;
- the type of course;
- whether the course has already commenced; and
- any other relevant circumstances.
The decision to approve or decline such a request will be made by Maralika based on the circumstances of the individual case.
Refund Processing
Once a refund is approved, the refund will normally be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.
The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in the student's account may depend on the payment gateway, bank, or other payment service provider.
Course Access After Refund
Once a refund is approved, Maralika may deactivate the student's access to the relevant course, classes, and course materials.
Students should not continue to use, copy, reproduce, distribute, or share Maralika's course materials after receiving a refund.
Course Materials and Intellectual Property
All course materials provided by Maralika, including videos, audio recordings, documents, worksheets, presentations, exercises, assessments, and other educational materials, are intended for the personal educational use of enrolled students.
Purchasing or accessing a course does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights in the course materials to the student.
Students may not copy, reproduce, record, distribute, publish, sell, share, or use Maralika's course materials for teaching, training, or commercial purposes without prior written permission from Maralika.
Special Circumstances
Maralika understands that exceptional circumstances may arise. Refund requests that fall outside the conditions described in this policy may be reviewed individually.
Maralika reserves the right to approve or decline such requests based on the circumstances of each case, subject to applicable law.
